More details

We install plaster ceiling features: L-box and box-up to hide pipes and wiring, cornice, and cove light ceilings for soft indirect lighting. Ceiling work is priced by length or area and by design, and it is often combined with lighting and carpentry.

Ceiling work we do

  • L-box / box-up: a boxed edge along the wall or around beams and pipes, often used to hide air-cond piping or to frame a room
  • Cornice: decorative trim where wall meets ceiling
  • Cove light: a recessed ledge that hides an LED strip for indirect light
  • Openings for downlights, coordinated with our electrical work

Price

Ceiling work is priced by length (L-box, cornice, cove light) or by area (flat ceiling), and by the design. Lighting and wiring are quoted separately under electrical work. WhatsApp us your floor plan for a price.

Site measurement is RM150, credited back when you confirm the job. Jobs below RM5,000 carry a RM300 transport charge.

Frequently asked questions

What is an L-box ceiling?

An L-box is a boxed plaster edge along the top of the wall, shaped like an L in section. It hides pipes or wiring and gives a clean line, and can include downlights or a cove light.

Is cove light the same as an L-box?

Not quite. A cove light has an open ledge that hides an LED strip so light bounces off the ceiling. It can be built into an L-box.

Do you do the lighting as well?

Yes. Our electrical team can add the points and LED strips in the same job.
